In reply to:  EE Signal & Coverage Problems: EE have cut back their 3G network in the UK now 4G is launched

  • Oh it looks like I’m not alone then!

I’ve been with T-Mobile since 2005 and once the merge with Orange was announced, I only imagined things would improve. How wrong was I?!

Now with EE, my coverage has gone from average 3G, to mostly GPRS/E or no data whatsoever. At first I thought it was my iPhone 5S, but the specifications of this new handset is miles better than my older iPhone 4, so would have assumed my coverage would have improved had the masts remained untouched.

Without reading this article before, I only assumed that the arrival of 4G would only increase EEs UK coverage and was told by an EE employee that 3G masts were being updated. Oh the lies just to keep their customers.

The only thing keeping me with EE is my old T-Mobile Flext tariff and the ability to call family and friends in different countries, oh and not forgetting the added benefits of not being additionally charged for calling 0800/0845 etc numbers. Other than that, I would have left.

So how many people need to complain to get a response from them, or whether they plan to rectify this issue or not?!
